You need to have your ID document and the beneficiary name. The beneficiary needs to show the ID document to get the transfer. Normally transactions with Western Union are paid cash in the destination country currency, however some agents can use cheque to cash at the nearest bank. The commission charged for the transaction depends on the amount sent.
